Consulting Specialists’ Obligations and Services
1. Provide consultation and walk-in services for students of the selected colleges.
2. Promote Campus Living Support Program, proactively understand students’ needs, introduce relevant resources, and strengthen students’ coping strategies for difficulties.
3. Coordinate resources on and off campus, collaborate with faculties within the school system, and actively provide counseling assistance.
4. Be familiar with services from all sectors in the Office of Student Affairs, ensure easy accessibility of those services for students in need, and provide students with timely and accurate information.
5. Create a caring environment, build long-term sustainable rapport with students, and offer assessment and resource referrals based on students’ needs and situations.
6. Attend seminars and training courses/workshops to upgrade professional competence.
7. Handle administrative requests and update case records.
