The mascot of the Office of Student Affairs at National Taiwan University is the Collared Scops Owl. It serves as the core design inspiration, symbolizing campus advisors stationed across different colleges who provide primary preventive counseling services. They act as first-line consultants for students’ campus adaptation, helping identify student needs and referring them to appropriate resources.
The design also incorporates the imagery of campus advisors as “messenger figures,” symbolizing their role in proactively delivering resources and care. In collaboration with each college, different plants are integrated into the design to encourage students to observe the campus environment and discover spaces where they feel safe and at ease.

The logo integrates symbolic elements such as the National Taiwan University Main Library, book-shaped stairs, and a graduation cap. Together, these elements represent the center’s role in providing warm support throughout students’ academic journey.
The color palette uses earthy yellow and deep green to evoke vitality, complemented by twilight blue. This combination symbolizes that support is available both day and night, conveying the core message: “You are not alone.”
The concept of Well-being itself carries a positive and uplifting meaning, associated with nature, hope, vitality, and positivity. By further reflecting on the mission of the Center of Student Well-Being, the designer envisioned the image of extending a helping hand to students. From an academic journey perspective, students first encounter the Main Library upon entering the university, and eventually return to the same place to take graduation photos in a mortarboard. Along this journey, it would be meaningful and comforting if someone could offer guidance and support during moments of confusion or loss. Therefore, all these elements were incorporated into the logo design. The background features the silhouette of the Main Library and a graduation cap, while the staircase is represented through stacked books, symbolizing the path of learning—from beginning to end. In terms of color, natural, earthy yellow and deep green are used as the base to create a vibrant campus atmosphere. The library area also blends deep blue and violet-blue tones, representing the transition from dusk to night. This signifies that whether in daylight or darkness, during times of hard work or struggle, there is always someone offering support. The overall message of the logo is: “You are not alone :).”
