Q1: What do CSW/ Campus Advisors mostly do?
The main duties of campus advisors are assisting students in campus adaptation. Through consulting with students and understanding their needs, we will make primary assessments of students' condition and help them find relevant resources.
Besides consulting service, campus advisors also accept referrals from colleges, departments or other units on campus, and operate case management to follow up students' status. Furthermore, we also hold mental health activities and lectures.
Q2:How to make reservations?
Students can make an appointment through the CSW system, email, or telephone. They can also walk-in to CSW room to find campus advisors.
Q3:What kind of circumstances or issues that students encounter are available to reach out campus advisors?
(1) When students have serious emotional distress or even mental illness, they can first consider going to the Student Counseling Center for assistance.
(2) When students face difficulties related to daily events on campus or academic performance, without enough resources, then it's encouraged to consult and discuss with campus advisors anytime.
